Porcelain sea shell moon jar with Oyster shell glaze. Hand thrown and carved with my signature relief decoration to the rim. Fired to 1260 centigrade. Height 275mm. Inspired by our visit to Japan, interaction with and the pots of Akihiro Maeta. A ceramic artist known for white porcelain. He is a ‘Living National Treasure’ of Japan.
